Duck Leg Confit

@ Pagani

A rich, meaty leg of duck tempered by the dried cherry mustard and a goat cheese toast. A great starter to share with a friend.

Ravioli Cacciatore

@ Pagani

The chef’s play on chicken cacciatore contains perfectly cooked chicken and pasta in a tangy, meaty sauce. It’s a on the smaller side, but perfect if your saving energy to go out afterwards.

Apple Fennel Salad

@ Pagani

Combined with arugula and goat cheese, it’s a refreshing salad that has a nice balance of peppery and sweet.

The Godfather Part II

@ No. 7 Sub

What mad genius decided to combine salami, chorizo, jalapenos and sweet potatoes? It hits on all the favor centers, but it’s also a beast of a sandwich to put down. I also say I’ll save some for later, but I never do.

Brussels Sprouts Tacos

@ Empellón Cocina

The almond mole gives in a bittersweetness I haven’t experienced before in taco form. Put it on NYC’s best tortilla and you’ve got yourself a must order.

Roasted Carrots

@ Empellón Cocina

Definitely the star of the night and I debated donning a 4th star. The carrots were cooked until soft but not soggy and the mole added the right amount of sweetness and spice. I’m now convinced mole was actually meant for carrots, not meat.

Veggie Burger

@ No. 7 Sub

Despite the name, it's served on the same baguette as every other sandwich here. It's very savory with the onions and french dressing. I wouldn't mind a little sweetness.

Maryland Blue Crabs

@ Brooklyn Crab

Fresh, tasty crabs. But you're coming here for the atmosphere.

Makmala Kebab

@ Bombay Talkie

A traditional dish, done perfectly well. The chicken is moist and tangy and refreshing when dipped in the mint sauce.

Pork Shoulder

@ Birreria

Braised in beer and apricot this was a winner. Hearty, melt in your mouth shoulder gets a kick from brown mustard and then is cooled by an apple and celery slaw. Order with confidence.
