Stone Park Burger
@ Stone Park Cafe
Meaty, juicy and topped with smokey bacon. Maybe not quite worth a trip to park slope, but if you're nearby you'll be very happy with it.
Brussels Sprouts Pizza
@ Motorino
One of my favorite white pies. A salty and tangy top on a charred doughy crust
Green Burger
@ Better Being Underground
Generally not a fan of turkey burgers, but I figure these guys do everything right. The patty was unusually juicy and tasty, but not enough to add it to my rotation here.
The Cuban
@ Better Being Underground
The pulled pork makes this the best Cuban sandwich I've eaten. Warning: it's very large so if you plan on eating the whole thing, you might want to take the afternoon off!
Thai Po Girl
@ Better Being Underground
Shrimp, thai chili, green papaya - I expected to love this banh mi/ po boy hybrid. But for some reason it didn't some together. The bun was also on the burnt side, whereas it probably didn't need to be toasted at all.
The Jerk Fish
@ Better Being Underground
Perfect for a light meal, it has great flavor and spice and consists only of fish and veggies on a wrap.
Slumdog Millionaire
@ Better Being Underground
Great assortment of spices makes this a great sandwich, especially on a cold day.
Little Neck Clams
@ Ducks Eatery
The sage and peppercorn broth is the star here. You can't get enough of it with the clams, but forutnately there's some texas toast to sop up the rest.
Crispy Pork Ears
@ Ducks Eatery
I'm torn on rating this one. The first bit of spicy, sweet, porky crunch is amazing. But eat two of the lettuce wrapped tacos and it's too much. Make sure you have someone to split these with and you'll be happy.
Lamb Corn Dog
@ Ducks Eatery
I learned something with this dish: lamb's gamey flavors are best surrounded by fried cornmeal. This was a special but hopefully it finds permanent place on the menu.
